Well designed, and well thought-out application software is a joy to use, and is easy on the eye. If the program flow and logic is intuitive, training is a breeze and the software operator can be expected to become productive very quickly.
The user interface is one essential key to successful custom application software. 7th Sense Multimedia is proficient in providing user interfaces for custom application software that are intuitive and logical. Our screens are typically designed to flow from top to bottom, and left to right. When screens perform multiple functions (such as adding records and editing records) or can present multiple work flows, screen elements are often hidden or disabled until requirements are met to proceed to the next logical area or task.
In the following example, the screen is taken from the barcode printing section of the Retail Genius: Surfaces™ software. That application is designed for very high resolution screens (1280x1024 pixels) to allow product photographs to be included on screen at high resolutions. Screen captures displayed at any resolution other than the native/original resolution are fuzzy, so (when you click the thumbnails), the following screen shots will seem a bit fuzzy, due to resizing and compression for web viewing.

Barcode Printing Screen, step 4. The selected groups are now in the print queue (which can be edited or cleared.) The user has selected a specific barcode label size, which provides print information and enables all of the print option buttons.
